9TH GRADE

Establish your college intent

  • Meet with your high school counselor and make a class plan that meets — or goes beyond — the minimum requirements.
  • Get involved through clubs, sports, volunteering, jobs, internships and more.
  • Sign up for our annual MOR affinity group events.
10TH GRADE

Get involved in your community

  • Meet with your high school counselor to make sure you are completing your requirements — and beyond!
  • Explore ways to earn college credit while in high school.
  • Continue involvement in school and community activities.
  • Sign up for our annual MOR affinity group events.

11TH GRADE

  • Register for the AP/IB exams (if applicable).
  • Look for ways to take on leadership roles in school and community activities.
  • Use these tips and guidelines to start working on your personal statement (college essay) for your application.
  • Sign up for our annual MOR affinity group events and our Shades of Purple Conference.
12TH GRADE

Finish strong!

  • Meet with your high school counselor to make sure you complete your requirements — and beyond!
  • Take college prep English and senior year math.
  • Complete your personal statement (college essay) and have multiple people review it.
  • Register for the AP/IB exams (if applicable).
  • Look for ways to take on leadership roles in school and community activities.
  • Use these tips and guidelines to start working on your college application essays.
  • Sign up for our MOR events, such as iDUB Conference, iDUB Application Workshops.
  • Apply to the UW using one of two applications – ApplyWeb or the Common App. The freshman application opens September 1 and the deadline for both is November 15.
