Shades of Purple is a free one-day event for rising high school seniors (Class of 2027) in Washington State who are interested in applying to the University of Washington – Seattle.
Get a head start on your college journey
- Learn how to apply to the UW and what goes into the admissions process
- Begin drafting your college admissions essay
- Attend workshops led by UW staff and students
- Explore student support and success resources
- Interact with current UW students and ask questions during the student panel
- Enjoy a free lunch in a UW dining hall
- Explore campus during a residential or campus tour
- Connect with other seniors from across Washington
