Rising SEAs Conference

About the Event

Description

Registration for Rising SEAs is full. To learn more about upcoming events, join our mailing list.

Rising SEAs is a conference designed for Southeast Asian high school students who are interested in applying to the University of Washington Seattle. The purpose of the conference is to encourage, motivate and empower Southeast Asian students to purse higher education, as well as to give them an opportunity to experience what the University of Washington has to offer.

Participants will meet UW staff and current UW Southeast Asian students, receive information on college admission, campus programs, and resources. Through interactive workshops, the collective space will provide an opportunity for participants to share their Southeast Asian cultural experience and build community with fellow participants in preparation to be a competitive applicant.

Note: Participation is open to all students regardless of race/ethnic background.

Parent/Guardian Permission Form

Students are required to submit a parent/guardian permission form to participate in the conference. You will be emailed a permission slip via DocuSign several days before the conference. As soon as you receive it, please have your parent/guardian digitally submit the form.
