Favorite place on campus:  I enjoy sitting by Drumheller Fountain on a sunny day. You get a great view of Rainier, the roses actually smell amazing, you can people watch and listen to the sound of water. Perfect for taking a pause and practice mindfulness.

Why the UW?: Aside from being a beautiful campus with a great atmosphere and expansive opportunities for growth, the UW is in an amazing location. I love being able to enjoy all the benefits of a large city like free community events, public transportation, and exciting festivals while still having easy access to nature. With lakes right in our backyard and some of the nation’s most breathtaking national parks just a short trip away, it’s the perfect balance of city life and outdoor adventure for me.

Favorite place on campus: The Drumheller Fountain. It’s great on its own, but on a clear day you can see beyond the fountain to Mount Rainier! Amazing view.
