About the Event

The Esperanza En Educación (E.E.E.) Conference is a one-day event for 9th and 10th grade Hispanic and Latino students, designed to encourage, motivate, and empower them to pursue higher education, as well as to give them the opportunity to experience the University of Washington. Participants meet with current Latino UW students, interact in workshops, and prepare for a successful first-year application

Esperanza En Educación is open to all WA state 9th – 10th grade students, and aims to create a welcoming, inclusive space for Hispanic and Latino students and anyone interested in building community, exploring Hispanic and Latino cultures, and connecting with student organizations and support resources available at the UW.

Note: Participation is open to all students in grades 9 and 10.
