Shades of Purple is a one-day student conference for open to all high school seniors (Class of 2026) in Washington who are interested in attending the University of Washington in Seattle. However, students who identify as American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian may find this program of particular interest.
Pasifika Pathways to the UW
Join us for Pasifika Pathways to UW, where you can learn more about higher education, the University of Washington and the Pacific Islander community on campus!
This program is open to all high school students. However, students from Native Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander backgrounds may find this program of particular interest. Native Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander students include but are not limited to Samoan, Tongan, Tahitian, Fijian, Māori, Chamorro, and other Micronesian, Melanesian and other Pacific Islander heritages. This community also embraces students from mixed-race backgrounds. People of all identities are welcome to join and engage.
